Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in MidWilshire. The Infrastructure Telephony Engineer, under the direction of the Director of IT Infrastructure and senior infrastructure engineering staff, works with other Technology staff to respond to escalation incidents and to implement system changes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage ongoing operations of the VOIP platform
- Manage telephony onboarding/offboarding tasks (extensions, conference rooms, etc.)
- Work with Telecom carriers to troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Work with Service Desk team to troubleshoot conference room issues (AV, connectivity, etc.)
- Manage Mobile Device Management platform
- Triage escalated Proofpoint phishing incidents using ServiceNow and Proofpoint admin console
- Design, manage, and report quarterly email phishing test campaigns
- Respond to escalated Infrastructure incidents and problems
- Visit remote sites to troubleshoot workstations or network equipment
- Work on management of the following, but not limited to:
- File servers
- Active Directory
- Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Application servers
- Server Virtualization
- Data Center Infrastructure
- Cloud Infrastructure (SaaS & IaaS)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred
- Minimum three years of experience with voice & data systems
- Minimum eight years of experience in an infrastructure role
- Certifications a plus
- Expert knowledge of enterprise VoIP technologies
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Server systems and technologies
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating systems
- Strong knowledge of server virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Experience with PowerShell
- Understanding of cloud environments: Office365, Azure, Salesforce
