    And our client, an excellent investment firm, is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join their team!

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the security of private and public cloud environments, such as Azure and AWS.
    • Evaluate, implement, and utilize SEIM, SOAR, and EDR solutions.
    • Apply cybersecurity defense practices to prevent unauthorized access, intrusions, and mitigate identified risks.
    • Collaborate with development teams to build and refine security tooling.
    • Research and identify vulnerabilities and threats to networks and information systems and recommend countermeasures to reduce risk.
    • Conduct and facilitate security and threat modeling reviews throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Coordinate and execute internal and external penetration testing, vulnerability scans, and ethical hacking exercises.
    • Automate security tools and processes to align with industry best practices in access control and security-in-depth.
    • Collaborate with other departments to improve and enforce compliance with the Information Security Management System.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of policies, processes, and procedures.
    • Stay updated on security threats, countermeasures, security tools, Cloud Security, and SaaS technologies.

    Qualifications:

    • 1-2+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience with a strong academic background.
    • Familiarity with ISO-27001 series of standards and their application, principles, and compliance requirements.
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and timely follow-through.
    • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to learn from and collaborate with peers to expand cybersecurity knowledge and expertise.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

    Nice to have:

    • Certifications: Security+ (CompTIA), Network+ (CompTIA), Microsoft Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900), Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Security Specialty, etc.
    • Membership or participation in: ICMCP (International Consortium of Minority Cyber Professionals), ISC2 (International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium), ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), CSIA (Cyber, Space, & Intelligence Association), ACFCS (Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialists), AISP (Association of Information Security Professionals), BCA (Black Cybersecurity Association), RMA (Risk Management Association), CSA (Cloud Security Alliance).
