Our client is looking for a database Developer to join their team in Mid Wilshire. This role is responsible for providing BI best practices and developing Enterprise Data Warehouse that will directly impact budgeting, reforecasting and overall business reporting and performance.
Responsibilities:
Develop robust ETL packages and support finance budget / reforecasting processes. Ensure data integrity, validity, accuracy, completeness and quality through data acquisition process design and process monitoring capabilitiesIdentify opportunities for usability improvements, simplification and standardization across ETL package and processResponsible for the company’s enterprise data warehouse design, development, operations and maintenanceDesign, develop, and operationalize complex logical and physical data models that meet complex business analytical needsMaintain the integrity and performance of company databasesManage quality aspects of offshore and outsourced development initiativesSupport ad hoc business data requests by understanding requirements and developing queries/SSRS reporting to present necessary dataMust have excellent analytical capability and comprehension of business challenges and address them during technical designResponsible for effective communication and interaction with business users and documenting
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience on developing and supporting data warehouses (ETL) in an enterprise environment, supporting Windows SQL Server with large data volumes and complex data processes3+ years hands-on experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) across various business subject areas. Data models presented in an enterprise business intelligence suite3+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and database and SSRS reportB.S. degree in Computer ScienceExperience with ETL processing using SSISExperience with Modeling using SSASExperience with Reporting using SSRSBe adept to documenting as part of communication, such as ER diagramming, architecture visualizations, data process flows, etc.Must possess SQL programming and SQL tuning skillsExperience writing and tuning stored proceduresExpert knowledge of Relational databases such as SQL ServerExperience in an Agile based delivery environment
