The Tableau developer will be responsible for the design and development of dashboards and data visualizations. This position will report directly to the Manager of Data & Analytics within the Enterprise Software Group.

The Tableau developer will work closely with Business Analysts/Project leads and other members of the Data & Analytics technical team to build an understanding of business process and data relationships to support the creation of analytical solutions.

Will collaborate with the team to plan, design, develop, test, deploy and ensure the adoption of a comprehensive business intelligence solution.

Responsibilities

• Design visualization dashboards and provide executive-level summaries around metrics.
• Troubleshoot data issues, providing support within internal systems
• Work with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, prototype potential dashboards and deliver a finished BI artifact.
• Understanding of ETL, SQL process, and data warehouse to be able to work with technical team on delivering necessary data for your dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four year college or university in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience with Tableau, primarily in a role focused on developing dashboards or reports or other data visualizations
• Should have the capability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Ability to develop, optimize and understand complex SQL queries
• Hands on ETL tool experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and business audiences.
• Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions
• Previous work experience in a financial institution environment is highly desirable
