  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a Business Analyst! The Business Analyst, Valuations identifies which projects will achieve the organization and department business objectives. They reduce project rework, underutilized functionalities, requirements that are needed and are committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions. 


    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Analyze and document systems and processes currently implemented. 

    • Collaborate with Project Managers, other business units and outside vendors to develop and manage project plans. 

    • Document data and reporting defects and help to determine root causes. 

    • Prepare scheduled reports and dashboards for value teams; synthesizing insights from disparate data sources. 

    • Research and analyze loan data, property specific data and/or macro trends for business opportunities. 

    • Constantly seeking ways to improve systems create efficiently workflows and enhance information in a strategic way that will positively impact the business. 

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related field required. 

    • 2+ years of experience working as an Analyst, Data Scientist or Business Analyst required. 

    • Experience in real estate finance and working with real estate data preferred. 

    • Working knowledge in creating and enhancing custom dashboards using Tableau and Power BI. 

    • Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, R and Scala preferred. 

    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. 

    • In-depth experience analyzing and interpreting data from various sources specifically related to real estate finance and valuation 

    • Analytical with a strong mathematical background i.e. statistics, algebra, etc. 

    • Intellectually curious, entrepreneurial in nature, hardworking and a passion for solving problems
