    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Manages and maintains the Elgin Sweeper sales configurator, part numbers, model compatibility and attributes by compiling marketing, engineering, and sales information.
    2. Develops logic and rule restrictions for sales options in all respective sales tools, while effectively communicating all changes to the external sales channels.
    3. Manages the bid management interface and verifies the accuracy of all data.
    4. Responsible for the new product implementation within the sales tool.
    5. Develop and maintain rules and tables for the configuration of all product models including standard and non-standard parts;
    6. Create and maintain the product catalog inclusive of all product entries, marketing verbiage, and product images.
    7. Develop and maintain technical documentation including work instructions and process flow information for all sales tool applications.
    8. Maintain all marketing driven specifications and pricing for all products, options, and accessories.
    9. Reviews Engineering Change Notice releases and makes necessary changes to sales tools.
    10. Evaluate engineering and BOM information for all options/accessories to assess compatibility and required constraints.
    11. Work with sales application engineer to build, review, and validate configurator BOM table information.
    12. Implement sales tool features to meet specified implementation plans required for new product and option releases.
    13. Complete a minimum of 16 hours of on-going education to expand technical sales tool capabilities,
    14. Ensure data integrity across all business systems, as well as develop and enforce product data standards and procedures.
    15. Seek opportunities to develop solutions and business simplification for sales processes and tools.
    16. Develop and maintain documentation for product release information and configurator training.
    17. Work closely with Inside Sales Manager, Product Management, and support staff to generate reporting as related to data generated throughout the sales process.
    18. Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as assigned.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred; would consider non degreed candidates with relevant experience.
    • 2-4 year related experience; would consider new college graduate
    • Yellow belt in Oracle CPQ preferred, but no required
    • Demonstrated strong work product attention to detail.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to understand and communicate technical specifications to non technical staff.
