    Job Description

    Homecare GPS is a growing software and service company located in Worcester, MA. Homecare GPS software is used to help Home Health Agencies be more compliant and efficient with their back-office operations, clinical documentation, and billing.     The Client Services Specialist will help satisfy the needs of our clients and our internal operations with excellence in service and accuracy in execution. They will begin by learning the details of our software and the billing services we provide and increase in the breadth and depth of their contribution over time as they develop their working knowledge. The Client Services Specialist will primarily support the weekly and on-going Client Billing Services activities, learning all aspects related to billing of services and interacting with many different websites and tools to process and track claims and provide detailed reporting. They will also be one of the first points of contact for client support, help with web-based training and perform other activities as needed. They will be part of a small, high functioning team in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Client support is primarily provided by phone and web-based tools.

    The Client Services Specialist position demands a high functioning, detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and communication skills and technical abilities to contribute to our client’s experience and success. Much of the work is data-driven and the services we provide impact our clients’ revenue, compliance, and operations. Therefore, it is not enough to just do a job task. A successful candidate will possess a genuine interest in understanding the purposes and implications of their work and have critical thinking skills that will help towards diagnosing issues, providing solutions, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

    Industry-specific experience is not required. We will train someone who has proven to have the right skills, and they will need a curiosity and patience to learn and grow over time. They must be able to work very well both independently and as a coordinated member of our team.

    What we are looking for:

    • College education, a curiosity to learn.
    • Passion for delivering excellence in all you do. A customer-focused mindset.
    • Detail-oriented, accurate in work, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. This is a must for all aspects of this role.
    • Strong working computer skills and the ability to learn software quickly. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, and Adobe software.
    • Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. The ability to interact positively with Clients who have a range of technical abilities, and to establish strong working relationships.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities and complete staff work.
    • Solution-oriented. Respectful team player with passion and attitude to do what is needed to get the job done timely and well. Ability to escalate things not yet understood. Teachable, able to receive instruction and feedback.
    • Desire prior success working in a fast-paced environment in any of these fields: software, home health or medical, banking industries, in an administrative or client support role. A plus is experience processing medical claims with MassHealth, Medicare and other payers.
    • Ability to work from home as needed in a quiet, private space, with broadband internet service. Ability to drive within the state/region and have reliable transportation, as occasional travel may be required.
    • Willingness to assist with various other tasks and duties as requested.
