    Company Description Since 1995 Eligibility Consultants, Inc. (IIIECI) has provided eligibility services to hospitals in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Our clients include, but are limited to, Baylor Scott and White Hospital, Texas Health Resources, Wise Regional Medical Center and UT Southwestern.

    Eligibility Consultants, Inc. helps patients obtain state and federal programs to pay their medical bills. These programs include, but are not limited to, Medicaid, Medicare, social security, Crime Victims Compensation, kidney disease programs, county indigent, and hospital charity. Our employees provide services such as pre-admit screening, insurance verification, ER evaluation and medical collections.

    We are currently looking to expand our eligibility and collections programs and are seeking qualified candidates.

    Job Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Bilingual English-Spanish
    2. Contacts patients by phone and/or email to obtain pending documents
    3. Verifies information given initially is accurate
    4. Takes incoming calls from patients
    5. Maintains a large caseload with minimum or no delinquencies
    6. Reviews that collateral information is obtained prior to advancing case to next level
    7. Performs other duties as required by management

    Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    1. High school diploma or GED
    2. Type 30 WPM with accuracy
    3. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Some college and/or knowledge of government assistance programs.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    This job operates in an office setting. Telecommuting is optional. Must follow telecommuting guidelines.

    POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

    This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4:30 pm. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.

    PAY

    $12.90

    TRAVEL

    No travel is expected for this position.
