    Join MedPOINT Management as an Eligibility Coordinator and play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the healthcare they deserve. In this dynamic position, you will navigate the complexities of eligibility verification while working with a passionate team dedicated to excellence in healthcare services.

    Responsibilities:

    Verify patient eligibility for insurance plans and government programs.

    Communicate with insurance providers to resolve eligibility issues.

    Maintain accurate records of eligibility status and updates.

    Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and coverage options.

    Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline the eligibility process.

    Monitor and report on trends in eligibility and coverage challenges.

    Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare staff.

    Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for eligibility verification.

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

    1-2 years of experience in healthcare eligibility or insurance verification.

    Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding procedures.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

    Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
