    Job Description

    Reporting to the Head of Information Security, responsibilities for the Enterprise Security Lead include the selection, deployment, management and maintenance of all security systems, incident response: including identification, triage, and response to security events. Other requirements include the refinement and upkeep of existing key performance indicators and the development of new metrics to identify current state and optimize existing operations. This leader is expected to set team goals and objectives, provide solid and focused direction and uphold accountability to ensure goals are met and or surpassed. The ideal candidate will also provide guidance and expertise which will help shape the overall security strategy.

    The Enterprise Security Lead must have broad demonstrable technical expertise in all the tools used within the team and be able to be hands on. In addition, must be able to authoritatively lead the team through incidents with strong guidance in the areas of forensic investigations within highly virtualized environments. Last, communication style must be highly polished (able to communicate to both levels up and down with ease and finesse) balanced in reaction and capable of listening first, gathering facts, and making fact-based decisions.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Perform in-depth network security analysis and work with the Security team conducting incident response, event analysis and threat intelligence for the company, globally.

    • Provide both strategic analysis and near real-time auditing, analyzing, investigating, reporting, remediation, coordinating and tracking of security-related activities for the corporate enterprise.

    • Analyze data and prepare reports that document vulnerability exposure and recommend actions to prevent or mitigate these vulnerabilities.

    • Provide technical mentoring to team members and be hands on with every tool to ensure effective configurations are in place.

    • Provide technical expertise on SIEM implementation and optimization of event correlation and related alerts.

    • Review security events that are detrimental to the overall security posture; analyze and detect sophisticated and nuanced attacks and discern false positives and provide results to management.

    • Coordinate and liaise with other departments within the company and external auditors with information regarding intrusion events, security incidents, and other threat indications and warnings information.

    • Demonstrate both technical acumen and critical thinking abilities.

    • Experience with trouble ticketing and change management tools

    • Coordination and escalation of issues to the Head of Information Security

    • Provide detection and response to security events and incidents within the Network.

    • Diligent maintenance and presentation of information security metrics

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer, information science or a related discipline

    • 10+ years of IT and Security experience

    • CISSP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

    • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

    • Strong technical understanding of IDPS technologies

    • Strong technical understanding of event log analysis

    • Strong technical understanding of forensics

    • Strong technical incident response skills

    • Must possess planning, organizational, and motivational skills, able to write clearly and succinctly in technical and non-technical formats.

    • Ability to speak clearly in both extemporaneously and in formal settings.

    • Experience in root cause analysis, industry benchmarking, survey evaluation and data interpretation is required.

    • Possess knowledge in the area of emergency/disaster management, physical security, critical incident stress management, risk management and business resiliency.

    • Strong interpersonal and networking skills with a strong ability to work in a team environment.

    • Ability to work under stressful and tight deadlines as well as the ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.
