Logistics Warehouse - Delivery Specialist ($40,000/yr) Elite Austin is a local design company specializing in home staging and furniture rental. The core function of this position involves warehouse activities such as pulling and moving furniture, loading our box trucks, putting away décor items and going out on jobs to help transport furnishings between the warehouse and the homes we stage. This position involves moving furniture and other warehouse projects such as furniture audits. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally, and up to 100 lbs rarely. The logistics team is always in motion, and this position entails a fair amount of walking, bending, and lifting. A typical day would involve helping load furniture onto our truck, going out on a route, and then locating, inspecting, and pulling furniture for the next day. Our routes typically cover one install and one move-out per day. We typically have 2 guys on a truck but can occasionally have 3 if we have a particularly large install that day. We make the most of downtime. Our crew is pulling, inspecting, doing audits, and repairing furniture in any downtime. We help our logistics department prepare for the busy weeks ahead, and our logistics team members earn a full 40 hours per week. We are a small business, so every day is a little bit different. We always start and end our days at the warehouse. Our jobs are all over Austin and the surrounding areas, so you will be in a different part of town each day. You may be at a home on Lake Travis one day and in the penthouse at a residential tower downtown the next. We have a great team of intelligent, motivated people from very different backgrounds. Schedule and Pay: • Full-time position with benefits after a 2-week trial period (please see below). • 40 hours per week within the timeframe of Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. • Benefits include paid holidays, 40+ hours of vacation time, and 16 extra hours of paid time off to cover you if you are sick, health, dental, and vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401k, and parental leave. • Starting pay: $25/hr for 2 weeks, then the option to switch to a full-time employee at $40,000/year. Responsibilities: • Assist with logistics, warehouse operations, organization, and inventory management • Assist with the installation and move-out of furnishings including, moving furniture, artwork, and décor • Professional interaction with clients during the installation and move-out process • Communicate openly and effectively with team members and management to assure smooth and efficient logistics operations • Identify potential problems and present solutions • Assemble new furniture and repair existing furniture • Help to keep all work areas including the trucks and warehouse organized and clean • Have a friendly and welcoming attitude • Must be comfortable with driving large box trucks safely and have a clean driving record Qualifications: Elite Austin will only consider high-energy and high-integrity people for our team.
