    Elite Austin is a local design company specializing in home staging, furniture rental, and design services.  We are currently searching for a Design Coordinator to add to our energetic and fun team who is a self-starter with a positive attitude, a good communicator with leadership abilities and project management skills has a meticulous eye for organization and detail, and loves working with a team of people.  An Elite Austin Design Coordinator is responsible for completing design projects from start to finish which involves balancing a successful outcome of both client satisfaction and company guidelines. Key Traits: • Team leader and team player with a focus on collaboration  • Positive and flexible mindset, forward thinker  • Action-oriented executor, creative problem solver  • Ability to manage yourself • Strong communication skills  • Project management and administrative skills • A meticulous eye for detail, organization, and able to manage multiple tasks • High integrity and accountability • Interest in self-improvement, learning, and growth  Responsibilities: CLIENT RELATIONS • Complete successful site visits, consultations, and installations  • Build strong relationships with clients, provide amazing customer service, and repeatedly exceed client expectations to help generate new and repeat business • Properly set, manage and fulfill client expectations • Resolve client dissatisfaction by working with operations to solve any issues  PROJECTS • Complete design projects from start to finish: balance successful outcome and client satisfaction while meeting company guidelines • Create design plans/sales orders; strategically allocate inventory based on the level of the project while considering the needs of future projects  • Pack and Prep for projects 24 + hours prior to install  • Work closely with the logistics department and approve all inventory pulled for installation to avoid hot shots • Lead install team in an efficient and productive manner while being detail-oriented  • Notify operations of any challenges • Update client throughout installation and walkthrough once complete: if client elects not to do a walkthrough email them after photos within 1 hour of install  ADMINISTRATIVE • Site Visits: complete site visit checklist and upload checklist and photos within 1 hour of the site visit • Estimates: generate estimates in a timely manner (right after a site visitor within 24 hours of site visit at the latest) • Pre-Install Sales Orders: complete sales orders and have ready for inventory coordinator minimum of 24 hours prior to installs • After Photos: upload after photos to the shared album and email client update/after photos within 1 hour of the completed install  • Post-Install Sales Orders: fulfill and email client copy of sales order (same day as install, or within 24 hours) COMMUNICATION • Effectively communicate with the design team, operations, logistics, and president to achieve successful outcomes  • Respond to Slack messages and communications promptly during business hours  • Provide key updates throughout the day/week and notify of issues promptly MISCELLANEOUS • Assist with marketing activities  • Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization  • Assist in continually improving processes and procedures to increase quality and maximize efficiency  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by seeking and continuing educational opportunities  Qualifications: Elite Austin will only consider high energy and high integrity people for our team. We are looking for the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of design experience in the design or furniture industry preferably working with home furnishings including furniture arrangements and styling • Internally motivated, able to keep busy during slower times • Possess good writing, math, and communication skills • Strong attention to detail with proven organizational abilities; ability to prioritize and excellent time management  • Proficient with Apple products and Microsoft Office. Canva, Salesforce, and Stageforce experience a plus but not necessary • Professional appearance  • Safe and clean driving record • Reliable vehicle for travel to and from warehouse/office, project sites, and marketing drop-offs (will need to transport some décor inventory in your own vehicle) • iPhone (we utilize Apple products and you will receive a monthly cell phone allowance) • Long hours of standing, moving, and bending • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds • Work in our warehouse, office, and onsite on projects  • Ability to withstand high-stress situations and meet demanding deadlines  • Positive attitude, action-oriented executor; ability to think outside of the box and problem solve effectively and efficiently SCHEDULE AND PAY • Full-time position • Benefits include paid holidays, vacation time, sick PTO, health, dental and vision, short term disability, long term disability, and 401k • Average of 40 hours per week within the timeframe of Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm  • Pay: Hourly • Mileage reimbursement • Cell phone allowance HOW TO APPLY • Please submit your resume along with a cover letter. Please include the following in your cover letter: • Available start date • Why do you feel you would be a good fit for the position • Examples of design work such as photos, lookbooks/mood boards, Pinterest/Houzz boards, etc. (Please don't contact our office directly)  Compensation: $18+ hourly, DOE
