    Elite Austin is a local design company specializing in home staging, furniture rental, and design services. We are currently searching for a Seasonal Design Assistant to add to our energetic and fun team who is forward-thinking, has a positive attitude, is a self-starter, good communicator, has a meticulous eye for organization and detail, and loves working with a team of people. The Design Assistant will assist all our departments including Design, Marketing, and Logistics departments with various activities. This position is a great experience to learn about a variety of responsibilities by working with a team and multiple departments. There is potential for future employment opportunities. Schedule and Pay • 90-120 day internship based on our project load • Average of 20-30 hours per week within the timeframe of Monday - Friday, 8 am - 6 pm (We are open regarding the number of hours per week and specific schedule; we can work around class schedules, etc.) • Pay: $15 per hour • Mileage reimbursement HOW TO APPLY • Include a resume and cover letter explaining why you are a good fit for the position • Include any examples of design work such as photos, lookbooks/mood boards, Pinterest/Houzz boards, etc. Responsibilities: DESIGN • Communicate with the designers and assist with various design activities  • Assist with packing and prepping décor and art for projects • Assist at project installations • Administrative activities including closing out project sales orders • Unpack décor and keep décor area organized • Assist with inventory management and inventory audits MARKETING • Assist with marketing initiatives • Send marketing emails daily • Assist with social media • Assist with various marketing activities LOGISTICS • Assist with assembling furniture • Assist with warehouse organization Qualifications: Elite Austin will only consider high energy and high integrity people for our team. We are looking for the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: • Knowledge and eye for design; understanding of different design styles and ability to design within varying aesthetics and constraints • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and with others • Internally motivated, able to keep busy during slower times • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficient with Apple products, and Microsoft Office • Professional appearance • Safe and clean driving record. • Reliable vehicle for travel to and from warehouse/office, project sites and marketing drop-offs (will need to transport some décor inventory in your own vehicle) • iPhone (we utilize Apple products) • Long hours of standing, moving, bending, and caring • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds • Work in our warehouse, office and onsite at projects • Ability to withstand high-stress situations and meet demanding deadlines KEY TRAITS • Positive attitude • Self-Starter and action-oriented executor • Creative problem solver • Strong communication skills • Meticulous eye for detail, organization, and able to manage multiple tasks • High integrity and accountability Compensation: $15 per hr
