Overview:
Develop, implement, and improve tools and systems to support operational efficiency and effectiveness, manage operational reporting, and provide analytical support to the Senior Management team.
Data/Reporting Tools: Excel, PowerBI or equivalent, RFMS, and Rollmaster at the moment; this will evolve into using more tools as digital transformation continues.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees performance data generation, analysis, reporting, and with KPI reporting requirements.
- Maintains and organizes operational data and generates trend analysis and other reports.
- Conducts comprehensive analyses of operational information and reports to identify areas of focus and need.
- Design and implement a robust reporting framework to track key operational metrics and KPIs.
- Define clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Specific job cost evaluations and associated analysis
- Skilled labor performance analysis
- Evaluate potential solutions based on factors such as features, scalability, cost, and compatibility with existing systems.
- Offer ongoing support to address any issues or questions that arise during implementation and usage.
- Supports Senior Management on presentations and special project analyses.
- Works collaboratively to develop and support new processes and solutions to ongoing, systemic issues.
- Supports projects across a range of customers and departments.
- Works with various departments and senior operations management to identify and develop new metrics for tracking performance quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in operations research, statistics, mathematics, or computer science is preferred.
High School diploma or GDE required.
5+ years of related experience in preparing and analyzing data
Understanding of residential construction, skilled trades, and common construction practices.
5+ years of work experience supporting the work of residential/production home builders is preferred.
Analytical and collaborative with strong technical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and an ability to listen and understand root needs across many different business units.
Advanced Microsoft Office suite of applications, using data to inform, set priorities, and identify challenges/opportunities.
