Physical Therapist Assistant, Elite Sports & Physical Therapy, Stougthon & Foxboro, MA
Elite Sports & Physical Therapy, with locations in Stoughton and Foxboro, MA, is currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing PT team. The ideal candidate should be have a strong interest in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy, be a team player, possess strong independent problem solving skills, demonstrate a cooperative and positive attitude, and have the ability to develop positive rapport with patients, office staff, physicians, other healthcare professionals, and community members. The qualified individual should have a strong professional demeanor and possess effective clinical and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. In addition, given the nature of our company, the ideal candidate should also have an interest in and/or experience in fitness, sports performance enhancement, and personal training.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program and be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant or eligible for licensure in Massachusetts; CPR certified; Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Health Sciences or Athletic Training are all a plus, as well as current accredited certification as a Personal Trainer or Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Requirements: This position will be split between our two clinics (Stoughton & Foxboro), with approximately 2 days spent in one clinic and three days in the other clinic (schedule may vary depending on need and patient volume). The hours are 11:00 AM-8:00 PM (with one hour lunch) Monday-Thursday, and 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Friday. Occasional weekend work will also be required (i.e. community outreach events, etc).
