    Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring the smooth functioning of our medical practice. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient care, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining a professional and friendly environment for patients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet patients, take vital signs, and record medical history accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
    • Prepare patients for examination, including assisting with dressing and positioning.
    • Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
    • assist with performing medical procedures.
    • Schedule patient appointments, coordinate referrals to specialists, and manage patient follow-ups.
    • Maintain and organize medical supplies, ensuring availability and appropriate stock levels.
    • Ensure a clean and safe environment in examination rooms, including sanitizing equipment and surfaces regularly.
    • Provide clear and concise instructions to patients regarding medications, procedures, and follow-up care.
    • Handle patient inquiries, triage phone calls, and direct patients to the appropriate healthcare providers or departments.
    • Assist with medical billing and coding, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate patient records.
    • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
    • Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
    • Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting is desirable.
    • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and basic patient care practices.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare team members.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage patient flow efficiently.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information and performing medical procedures.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
    • Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
