The FOOD SERVICE WORKER-CAFETERIA CASHIER performs a variety of tasks associated with the  preparation, service, set-up and maintenance of food,  use of cash register, cleaning of cafeteria line and dining room; performs a variety of cleaning tasks including detail cleaning; and is responsible for stocking and cleaning work areas. May be asked to do other tasks associated with food service as the need arises.

Required Skills

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control protocols.
• Ability to use knives, large food production equipment and tools
• Ability to use cash register and make change

Required Experience

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak basic English and do simple math.
• Six months experience in food services preferred, but not required
