Job Description

Immediate need for a temporary Payroll Specialist to assist with a project, the assignment will last approximately 1 month, 25 to 30 hours per week. The work will be done remotely and the company will provide a computer.

This position will assist the accounting department with their payroll transition to ADP, this is a very collaborative team where work will be done independently, and members of the department are available to provide support and answer questions.

DUTIES:

• Generating reports from the current payroll system (Ultipro)
• Contacting tax agencies for tax account setup.
• Data Comparison auditing
• Running test on the new system (ADP) and compare data to Ultipro
• Updating employee data and following up on missing information.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Comfortable working in Ultipro and ADP Workforce Now
• Payroll knowledgeable (FPC or CPP is a plus but not required)
• Intermediate Excel Skills, comfortable with large amounts of data (sorting, filtering, sums)
• Payroll Tax Knowledge experience dealing with State Agencies would be a huge plus
• Able to work independently without supervision and strong attention to detail
