    JOB BRIEF:

    Client Solutions Managers (CSM) are responsible for winning new customers via strategic sales prospecting and nurturing and managing existing customers to meet sales quotas. A CSM is directly responsible for identifying business opportunities while maintaining current customer relationships. The position requires skills needed to execute the entire sales process and deliver outstanding customer service. A CSM is expected to be a reliable professional who balances a results-driven sales focus with a priority of maintaining an outstanding customer experience.

     

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Achieve assigned sales goals for revenue and profitability
    • Achieve goals for new customer wins
    • Increase sales to existing customers
    • Book and track freight for new clients to ensure quality experiences
    • Retain existing customers by utilizing proactive approach to customer needs with appropriate solutions.
    • Seek win-win relationships to grow sales and resolve issues
    • Maintain accurate sales records, sales reports and customer information in the sales database
    • Develop and remain current on industry and market trends with objective of industry expertise
    • Develop and remain current on prospecting techniques, sale skills, and best in class customer service.
    • Demonstrate professionalism in the workplace
    • Contribute to the management of day to day operations by striving to ensure customers have the following experience with our service:

    SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • At least 2 years of related sales or brokerage experience is required
    • Experience or working knowledge of the logistics market
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
    • Driven to achieve outstanding results
    • Strong desire to serve customer needs
    • Demonstrable business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales process
    • 4-year degree from accredited university preferred

     

    Roles are managed through specific KPI’s based upon business requirements as deemed appropriate.
