Job brief:

The IT Business Analyst works within the systems project development and support team, playing a primary role in gathering requirements that provide functional solutions and a positive user-experience that satisfy the business needs of our stakeholders. Identifying, gathering, and validating relevant data as well as writing Business Requirement and testing documents are key elements of this role.

What will you do at Elite?

Meet with business and IT users in requirements gathering/functional design sessions, including documenting and publishing minutes from meetings

Create required project documentation (Business Requirements documents, Functional design documents, flow charts, project status reports, test cases, etc.)

Communicate with leadership on status of projects

Assist with maintaining project plans and interfacing with external vendors as required for project development

Track bugs and/or defects discovered by QA during testing

Participate in product launch and training activities

Build stakeholder relationships to fully understand end-user needs

General administrative duties as requested

Skills and Requirements:

Ability to analyze data, draw accurate conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations

Strong problem-solving skills with broad big-picture mindset

Ability to prioritize projects and manage deadlines

Attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication skills

Desire to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment

Programming experience a plus

SQL knowledge is an advantage

Experience with Microsoft Suite required (Excel, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, Word, Outlook)

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in relevant Business or IT related program

2-4 years of relevant business analyst experience within the IT sector

Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

Strong knowledge of BABOK

Familiarity with BPMN

Logistics industry knowledge is preferred
