  • Responsibilities

    Plan, implement and evaluate the student support components of Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math/Science. Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math/Science are federally-funded TRIO programs which prepare low-income and first-generation college bound high school students for success in post secondary education. Hire, train and evaluate the program's tutoring staff. Provide academic and personal counseling to program participants. Oversee the direct daily supervision, management and record keeping of the tutoring components of the Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math/Science programs.

    Required Skills

    Requires: B.A./B.S., strong communication and interpersonal skills and one to three years of experience; supervisory experience a plus; and satisfactory CORI check. Although not required, preference will be given to applicants with experience with TRIO or Upward Bound. Applicants who speak multiple languages are also encouraged to apply.
