    Sustaining PATH's success requires attracting and retaining a global workforce through both a compensation and benefits strategy that is innovative and responsive and plans that are equitable and competitive.  PATH's Global Total Rewards Director is a worldwide position that provides leadership and guidance in developing, maintaining, and delivering compensation systems and benefits programs.

     

    The Total Rewards (TR) Director reports to the Chief People and Diversity Officer and is part of PATH’s Global HR Leadership team.  The TR Director will design, implement, and lead PATH’s global benefits, wellness, compensation programs, and change management focusing on attracting and retaining talent in all markets where PATH operates.  This role manages a team of talented professionals and partners with program leaders and HRBPs around the world.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

     

    • Continuous innovation in total rewards initiatives that are aligned to PATH’s values and strategic priorities
    • Design market competitive compensation and benefits plans, taking a total compensation approach in the countries where PATH operates and employs people
    • Develop and manage efficient business processes for the administration of daily compensation changes, including promotions, adjustments, offers, etc.
    • Partner with the Chief People and Diversity Officer and Board Chairman to support the Executive Compensation Committee
    • Provide agile solution-oriented support to projects as PATH expands operations into countries where we do not currently operate
    • Engage and partner with HR colleagues and organizational leaders to find creative solutions to unexpected challenges that emerge globally
    • Use data and analytics  to inform decisions and ensure all our processes drive fair and equitable outcomes 
    • Drive a strategy and plan to ensure pay equity across all demographics, including build-out of dashboards to provide visibility on progress
    • Partner with our Finance & Planning team on annual compensation planning and budget processes
    • Ensure alignment of total compensation policies and practices to the complex, changing requirements of multiple donors, countries, and types of work
    • Simplify business processes and author total rewards policies that address both organizational needs and compliance requirements
    • Manage partnerships with vendors to provide comprehensive coverage to address employee needs 
    • Negotiate/oversee the negotiation of vendor associated contracts
    • Serve as thought partner for executive team and HR leaders on global compensation and benefits trends, regulations, and cutting edge practices
    • Design, implement, and oversee a global mobility program and tax policy that corresponds with PATH’s talent strategy
    • Manage global tax vendor for tax advice and preparation and other total rewards contracts and vendors

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Compensation and benefits function leadership experience required. Global compensation and benefits leadership experience preferred

    COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement

     

     

     

    PATH has instituted a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all employees, interns, consultants, and temporary staff based in the United States. Individuals selected for job opportunities in the United States must be fully vaccinated, and show proof of vaccination status, upon hire. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as Pfizer or Moderna, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson.   • Qualifications

    Bachelors degree required and 5 to 8 years of related work experience.
