Our busy restaurant is looking for a Bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities: • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Collect payments, settle patron checks, and ensure tabs are paid, as well as record daily sales totals in the point-of-sale system • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more • Check customers' age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations • Responsible for inventory, ordering, and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer. Maintain an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management • Promptly greet all bar guests, take their beverage and food orders, and maintain guest satisfaction throughout the service • Settle patron checks, collect payments, and ensure tabs are paid using proper payment methods Qualifications: • Previous bartending experience strongly preferred • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask • Previous food service industry experience is required • You must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol Compensation: $20+ hourly
