Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Primary Responsibilities:
· Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement treatment plans, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.
· For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
· Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
· Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
· Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
· Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
· Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
· Complete all Rule 29 training requirements.
· Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role ;).
· Monitor client progress with treatment goals to determine effectiveness of interventions.
· Perform clinical assessments to evaluate the individual’s priority population diagnostic eligibility and treatment needs.
· Provide therapy focusing on the reduction or elimination of symptoms of severe and persistent mental illness and increasing the individual’s ability to perform activities of daily living.
· Be responsible for participation in formulation of consumer’s treatment.
· Communicate and work with consumers/visitors/other staff in a manner that demonstrates knowledge of cultural diversities.
· Meets weekly productivity standards.
· Demonstrate ethical conduct in all clinical and professional activities.
· Comply with Ellie Mental Health policies and procedures, accrediting/regulatory bodies, and performance contract documentation requirements.
Qualifications you will need: Master’s degree (M.A.) from four-year accredited college or university with a major in a social, behavior, or human service field, including but not limited to psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, human development, and educational psychology.
Clinical license through the State of Texas for one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Must maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License and be insurable under Ellie Mental Health policies.
Knowledge of and ability to apply crisis intervention techniques.
Strong diagnostic skills, the ability to incorporate patient history, symptoms to formulate proper diagnosis and treatment.
Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems (Procentive experience a plus!)
Ability to pass a background check
Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide clear, concise, and well-constructed written documentation.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Must be able to work autonomously.

Training in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, play therapy, disordered eating and process addictions will be highly considered.
