Lead Therapist

The Lead Therapist is responsible for supporting the Clinic Director in the oversight of performance and operations of the clinic. This role supports the Clinic Director and clinic staff, assists with staffing needs, provides resource support, and performs administrative oversight.
Ellie Mental Health was founded in 2015 by Erin Pash, LMFT and Kyle Keller, LICSW when they opened the first Ellie clinic in Minneapolis. Since then, the Ellie Fam has continued to grow with multiple clinics in Minnesota and a growing number of locally owned and operated franchises across the country.
Ellie was proudly founded on the principle of destigmatizing mental health. The mental health industry is full of barriers, and we’ve made it our goal to fill the gap and find innovative ways to break down these barriers for the communities we serve.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Assist CD with 1:1 supervision of clinicians
Partner with CD to support administrative changes as needed
Assist CD with monitoring and managing clinic office schedules.
Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders.
Check clinic performance data weekly and assist CD with identifying opportunities to improve clinic functioning and quality of client care
Maintain agreed upon clinical client caseload
Serve as back-up for CD when they are out of the office
Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
Master’s Degree or higher education in mental health discipline.
Independently licensed with a Texas-issued clinical practice license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets.
Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems.
