Clinic Director—Ellie Mental Health Ellie Mental Health is a brand new clinic opening soon in the Green, Ohio (Akron/Canton) area! Be a part of a national movement to end the stigma, fill the gaps, and bring greater innovation to mental health. Seeking an exceptional Clinic Director (CD) in Green, Ohio to develop a team of innovative, creative, and compassionate therapists. Clinic Director - Ellie Mental Health The Clinic Director is a hybrid position. In addition to seeing a small roster of clients, you will be responsible for the overall performance and operation of our clinic. This includes:
Hiring and recruiting fantastic, unique, and fun-loving clinicians
Managing clinic performance and client satisfaction
Providing training and ongoing developmental support
Meeting fiscal goals
Marketing clinical services
Building community partnerships and referrals
Required Skills/Abilities
Master’s Degree or higher education in mental health discipline
Independently licensed to practice therapy in the state of Ohio (e.g. LISW, LMFT, and LPCC)
2+ years experience supervising full/limited licensed professionals
Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice
Adept at learning and navigating EHR systems
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment
Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook, and Teams (preferred)

Tasks & Responsibilities Hiring, Training, and Staff Management
Oversee the hiring and training process for all therapists
Assess ongoing development needs and implement coaching, annual performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and termination process as needed
Assess ongoing development and training needs and conduct ongoing training as needed.
Hold staff compassionately accountable to meeting expectations
Manage basic clinic human resource tasks
Supervision and Consultation
Provide 1:1 consultation with all therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation (at least one hour monthly)
Oversee twice monthly peer consult groups to ensure clinical excellence and alignment with best practices
Provide clinical oversight to mental health practitioners, including signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed clinicians
Execute quarterly team building events
Clinic Oversight
Collaborate with clinic owner and Ellie Mental Health corporate staff (as needed) to implement strategies for fiscal and clinical efficiency
Monitor and manage clinic office schedules and case distribution
Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients and clinicians
Serve as point of contact for office management issues or concerns
Clinic Outreach, Marketing, and Networking
Alongside clinic owner, spearhead community outreach and engagement efforts
Network with local medical offices, community health clinics, and more to grow referrals
Collaborate with Ellie’s marketing team to create and execute localized marketing efforts and social media engagement
Attend community events to promote brand visibility
Organizational Leadership
Collaborate with clinic owner and Ellie corporate team to implement all required policies and procedures
Collect performance data and track KPI to ensure optimal performance
Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve client care, grow clinicians, and engage the community
