We are searching for a garage door installer who is knowledgeable, experienced, and detail-oriented to help us grow our team. You will take the necessary measurements and follow the manufacturer's instructions to install garage doors and operators in homes and businesses. You will also have to work to figure out what's wrong with current systems and work with customers to provide solutions. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills. This position will need to communicate effectively, work together with a team, and be able to problem-solve quickly and effectively. Responsibilities: • Communicate with clients on how to properly use and maintain their new equipment • Maintain strict adherence to all applicable regulations, guidelines, and safety protocols • Read instruction manuals for all products installed in a service environment before attempting to install • Carry, lift and/or move heavy objects overhead with assistance as required • Add finished projects and the components that were used to the database Qualifications: • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean traffic record • Preferred qualifications include previous work experience in construction, maintenance, or a related industry • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer satisfaction skills • Strong math, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with a team Compensation: $20 - $30 hourly
