    Position Summary:

    Responsible for day to day execution of field service including but not limited to Technical Support, Repair Service, Installations, Predictive, Preventive & Uptime Maintenance Programs, as well as execution of other Ellison Technologies Service Products. Accountability to generate Demand and Reoccurring revenues as assigned by Field Service Manager.

     

    Essential Duties:

    • Always represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically.
    • Complete, adhere to and follow required safety training and procedures including (but not limited to) lock-out-tag-out, confined space, Arc Flash, etc. Drive in a safe courteous manner as well as follow applicable laws.
    • Perform field service as directed and deployed following Ellison Service Organization SOP’s and WI’s.
    • Within Salesforce take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and complete and maintain all customer records and technical documentation.
    • Resolve customer issues and provide sales support.

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    A CNC technical background is required with a proven track record of no less than 5 years in field service desired. The ideal candidate would also have a minimum 2-year technical degree. Working knowledge, a plus for Fanuc, and any other CNC controls fitted on equipment currently represented by ET or ET legacy machines.  Able to make repairs and perform maintenance, with the ability to leverage the resources required to execute the repair. Describes theory of operation and applicable applications of tools. Understands product engineering documents within context of responsibility. Applies knowledge to identify solutions, discuss results and meet requirements. Identifies primary functions, capabilities, and limitations of product(s). Performs surveys and application evaluation of product(s). Performs verification to validate product(s) can or will operate in current operating conditions. Can supervise others to perform repairs and maintenance. A desire and commitment to learn and develop their skills in relation to machine tools and robotics, as well as other new technologies in our industry.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
    3. Ability to perform rigorous physical activities required by industrial manufacturing tasks.

    1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an industrial environment near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and vibration, and will always be required to utilize safety equipment.
    2. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and utilizing proper safety equipment is always required..

     

    General Requirements:

    Applicant should have a basic understanding in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and the Internet.

    Standard work week is based off 40 hours. Some overnight travel may be required.
