Summary The Marketing Intern will support our social media strategies, campaign executions, and daily marketing operations. You'll play a crucial role in coordinating with studios and exhibitors, ensuring project deadlines are met, and maintaining our website. Additionally, you'll build relationships with theatres and manage our marketing inventory. This position offers the chance to develop your marketing skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
This position will be based out of our corporate office in Troy, MI.
Essential Functions:
Assist with planning and executing social media strategies and campaigns.
Assist department heads with daily functions and tasks within the marketing department, e.g.: studio release dates, special events and campaigns, & take department meeting minutes.
Learn studio and exhibitor relationship: manage emails and directives from studios to ensure project timelines and deadlines are met.
Website coordination & administration.
Develop relationships with theatres and track marketing inventory
Qualifications:
Must currently or recently have be enrolled in Marketing, Communications, or similar degree program.
Strong self-motivation and interpersonal skills
Goals of the Internship:
Develop strong understanding for marketing within the movie theater industry.
Gain project management skills.
Campaign coordination and execution.
Length of Internship: March 2024-TBD
Hours Per Week: 20-25 Hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
