    SUMMARY: To service and maintain the cleanliness of all public areas including restrooms, common areas and executive offices in accordance with Embassy Suites standards.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    Ensure that the hotel lobbies are serviced throughout the day.

    Clean and service all public restrooms in lobby areas.

    Respond to guest requests.

    Performs other duties as required within the scope of responsibility.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory standard. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.     Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Some hotel experience preferred - minimum 3 months. Ability to manage priorities and be able to adapt to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Excellent guest services skills required.

    License/Certification: A valid driver's license is preferred.

    Language Skills: Ability to exercise excellent communication, organization, time management and listening skills. Fluency in a second language is an advantage.

    Computer Skills: None.

    Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to guest oriented situations. Must have a sense of urgency.

Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
