    Job Description

    About the Role

    We are looking for a GSOC Analyst to join us in an embedded role within a client's security team. You will be responsible for alarm management, customer service, facilities support, and incident response as part of a 24/7 security operations team. You will also participate in enhancing the team’s threat intelligence capability for determining the likelihood and impact of threats against the client’s people, assets, operations and reputation (such as civil unrest, crime, terrorism, extreme weather, health hazards or technical failures).

    This role would particularly suit a recent or imminent graduate, early-career security professional, or anyone with an interest in getting into the security industry. The GSOC uses a variety of tools such as global access control and alarm monitoring systems, integrated video monitoring systems, enhanced visitor management systems, and in-house applications used to detect threats and incidents that may impact the company.

    This is a night shift requiring to work Sunday to Thursday, 11 pm – 7 am.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely response to incidents, alarms, notifications, and calls for service
    • CCTV and Alarm monitoring escalation and triage requests
    • Evaluate and process information received from all available sources, and respond with appropriate communication, analytic reporting, and incident response procedures
    • Ensure all forms of communications, such as written reports, emails, phone conversations, and personal interactions, are conducted in a confidential, courteous, and professional manner and documented appropriately
    • Maintain knowledge of the GSOC specific standard operating procedures
    • Manage physical security and control functions at designated locations
    • Communicate security issues or emergency situations by escalating information to department leadership, local law enforcement, emergency services, such as EMT, Fire Departments, etc
    • Participate regularly in security/safety training programs to stay current on critical GSOC responsibilities and competencies inclusive of drills and tabletop exercises
    • Engage with Sibylline Intel Ops and other embedded teams to enhance skills, knowledge and best practices, with a view to developing new intelligence products for the client.

    Requirements

    • Associate or bachelor's Degree (Criminal Justice, Security Studies, or related fields) or equivalent work experience in fields such as security, research and analysis, investigations, or customer service
    • Attentive, organized, and detail oriented
    • A quick learner with the ability to multitask
    • A strong team player with the ability to work independently as needed
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Flexibility and ability to work all shifts (24/7 operations), willingness to assist the team with overtime as needed
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
    • Ability to research and analyze a wide range of information and create analysis in accordance with strict deadlines
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Full existing authorization to live and work in the US.

    Nice to have

    • College/university degree
    • Experience with mass notification systems (e.g. Everbridge)
    • Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV monitoring systems, and other incident management and/or security platforms
    • Experience with security applications such as Lenel and Genetec
    • Experience with social media monitoring software (e.g. Dataminr)
    • Foreign language skills

    Interview Process

    • Initial call with our Talent Acquisition team member
    • Timed written assessment (arranged at a time that suits you) to test writing and analytical capability
    • Panel interview with some of the team members and hiring managers at Sibylline

    Successful candidates will be invited to complete a writing assessment test to writing skills. Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to a final panel interview. In the current environment, our interviews will be conducted virtually.

    ​The remuneration for this role is negotiable for the right candidate, dependent on qualifications, aptitude and experience. The salary range for this position is $68,640 per year in 2025.
