About the role
The Protective Intelligence Analyst role is embedded within our client and will be responsible for identifying, researching, and assessing threats and trends impacting our client’s content risk operations, strategy, and brand reputation. The ideal candidate for this position is a passionately curious intelligence practitioner who can identify threatening language, utilize OSINT and social media investigative techniques, identify trends, and can think ‘outside the box’ when developing solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential functions
· Conduct detailed assessments on threat actors and maintain databases.
· Support talent and executive protection details with accurate and timely information and alerting.
· Provide security/threat assessments for events.
· Respond to critical incidents, rapidly research, and deliver information in a clear and concise format.
· Conduct investigations, as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, or a relevant field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience. Master’s degree, preferred.
3+ years of relevant work experience in the protective intelligence field in a corporate setting.
Foreign language proficiency a plus.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements
This position is moderately self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position works in an on-site office environment utilizing a computer and standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to interact collaboratively with the team and stakeholders, and communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The position may require travel up to 5%.
