Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Work Schedule: Full Time Monday-Friday
Local Candidates only onsite at Santa Clara, CA 4 days a week onsite
Initial Length: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Pay Rate Range: $75- $81 W2

Tech industry experience required NOT IT
Looking for someone with more hands-on experience with C++ and Python and who falls in the experience range of 5-7 years
Required:
Advanced C++ and Python coding skills, networking skills, low-level hardware understanding,
Two workers each will be working on 2 separate projects
Tasks:
Embedded team to improve inventory management to enhance customer management; install software; improve infrastructure around software installment; design, develop software, and validate robust infrastructure.
Job Description:
Full life cycle software development from design through development, validation, and release.
Implementation of software for inventory, configuration, firmware, and software management including versioning, updating, minimizing availability impact, etc.
Integration with existing infrastructure, and cross-team development to support new features and capabilities.
Education:
Master's degree in CS or equivalent field with 5-7yrs of experience (preferred)
BS in CS or equivalent field with 10+ years of experience.
Experience:
Excellent C++ and Python coding skills
Experience with firmware management, tooling/scripting, CI/CD, OS fundamentals, Bash, Networking
Experience using source code versioning tools like GitHub
