Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on developing and maintaining firmware/software solutions that power our bio-decontamination devices and service platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software, coding, design, and backend development. Required skills are C/C++, .NET MAUI, ATMEL, Nordic, NXP processes, Free RTOS and Zephyr project. Knowledge in C#, Avalonia, SQLite, BLE, Modbus and serial network communications is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for bio-decontamination devices.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Ensure responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly UI/UX.
Develop user interfaces for mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
Apply cybersecurity best practices in embedded and IoT systems.
Document software design, architecture, and development processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets regulatory and cybersecurity standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience with:
C, C#, C++, .NET MAUI, ATMEL, Nordic, NXP processes, Free RTOS and Zephyr Project
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in embedded or IoT systems.
Experience with RTOS environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
Familiarity with FDA, ISO, or other regulatory compliance standards.
Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and microservices.
Knowledge of C#, Avalonia, SQLite, BLE, Modbus and serial network.
