Ember Fund is the first mobile app in the world that allows anyone to invest like a cryptocurrency hedge fund. We have been featured in TechCrunch, Yahoo Finance, Forbes, Coindesk and are backed by some of the top VCs in the industry. Our mission is to bring institutional fund management technology to anyone with a mobile device and a few hundred dollars, all without holding private keys.

Ember Fund is seeking to contract a research driven UI/UX Designer to lead the design team with improving our app for our users. The ideal candidate is a design rockstar who possesses a design thinking approach to UI and UX. You have a proven portfolio of work that will help guide and elevate our app for the future. Most importantly, you are innovative and passionate about what you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct and evaluate user requirements and competitor analysis
• Conduct usability testing and research
• Create prototypes and wireframes with purpose and thought
• Create aesthetically pleasing assets that exemplify the vision of the company
• Identify and troubleshoot UI and UX problems while providing insightful feedback and direction
• Collaborate across internal teams including product managers and engineers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of UI/UX Design experience
• Advanced knowledge of best practices in UI, UX, and interaction design
• Advanced knowledge of industry standard tools (Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD, Illustrator, etc)
• Stellar communication skills along with the ability to clearly articulate design choices
• Extremely detail oriented in the delivery of products and ideas

COMPENSATION: $50-$100/hr
