EmberHope Youthville, a leading provider of child welfare services throughout Kansas and San Antonio, Texas is currently seeking a Full-time HOME DEVELOPER for San Antonio, TX area. This person will be responsible for Coordinating the licensing process for prospective foster parents. Train all new and verified foster parents. Develop new relevant training curriculum and train in an evidence-based curriculum. Assists with overseeing trainings for current foster parents. Completes home studies for new foster parents. Recruit for and assist with program development for special populations. Assist in passing all site inspections by DFPS.

• 5% Other duties as assigned

1. Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or other human services field required.
2. Possess professional licensure as a LMSW, LPC, or LMFT, preferred.
3. Possess Licensed Child Placing Agency Administrator (LCPAA) or willing to obtain, preferred.
4. Two years of Child Placing Agency experience conducting child placing activities or foster care services, preferred.
5. Experience with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Minimum Standards for Child Placing Agencies, preferred.
6. Have an advanced understanding of how trauma impacts children within the child welfare system.
7. Prior training experience, preferred.
8. Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software and system databases, EVOLV preferred.
9. Physical working requirements – Travel frequently within the greater San Antonio area. Driving personal vehicle including at night. Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Able to walk upstairs. Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends to meet the needs of foster parents. Subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
10. Possible remote position with one in-office day per week.
11. Bilingual, preferred.
