    Full Job Description: Emerald Mountain Labs is a leading cultivator in Michigan's fast-growing cannabis industry. Our focus is producing boutique-style, premium quality flower for provisioning and processing centers throughout the state. Emerald Mountain Labs and its affiliate facility, Viridian Labs, are home to over 50,000 sq ft of cultivation space in Warren, Michigan. Our rapidly growing facilities demand skilled and talented people to help us expand and increase efficiencies throughout front and back-end operations. We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable/Receivable professional for processing expense reports and invoices, to ensure payments are made in a timely manner. The individual in this role will be responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices and performing account reconciliations as needed. The ideal candidate will work with our team to ensure our organization's expenditures are accurate and our accounting practices are standardized across the organization. Accounts Payable Description: * Maintain an orderly accounting filing system. * Organize records of invoices, bills and deposits. * Administer accounts payable invoices and reimbursements and invoicing from third-party vendors. * Monitor all outstanding balances with customers to ensure timely collection of payments. * Account reconciliations related to month end and quarter end close. * Assist in the preparation of financial statements. * Confirm appropriate supporting documentation is included in files for audit and review purposes. * Ensure vendor information is accurate and up-to-date. * Reconcile account transactions with the general ledger. * Perform recordkeeping and prepare financial reports. * Keep informed of CRA regulatory requirements and changes related to licensee accounting. * Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts payable/receivable status. Job Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance ( Preferred ). * 2 years of accounting experience. * Experience with QuickBooks. * Good record keeping. * Excellent Excel skills * Experience working in fast-paced environments. * Strong attention to detail. * Focus on accuracy and timeliness. * Highly organized. * High level of integrity and a strong work ethic * Must be 21+, with a valid State ID, and able to pass additional background screening. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: * 8-hour shift * M-F with weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate * United States: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education * Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
