Emerge is actively recruiting for an Assistant Controller with a fantastic company in the Greater Cleveland, OH area. This position can be remote, hybrid or onsite. Reporting to the Controller this individual will be responsible for:

\- Account Reconciliation

\- Monthly Close Process

\- Managing Monthly Income Statements

\- Preparing Balance Sheets

\- Conducting Audits

\- Journal Entries

\- Tracking and Controlling Fixed Assets

-Oversee accounting staff of 3-5 people

-Helpful past work experience: someone with knowledge of SAAS, GAAP

Required Education and Experience:

• BS Accounting and minimum 5 years broad-based and comprehensive accounting experience.
