    Emerge is actively recruiting for an exciting new position for a Sales Manager with our fantastic client company in Winsted CT. Our client is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace, power generation, and transportation industries. The primary businesses focus on jet engine components, aerospace fastening systems, titanium structural parts and forged wheels. With nearly 1,150 granted and pending patents, the company’s differentiated technologies promote more fuel efficiency for aircraft and commercial transportation.

    This position is an individual contributor role that acts as the primary sales contact for customers on commercial customer management and business development. Responsibilities include development of long-range planning budget with group sales, forecasting of anticipated product requirements and overall management of customer orders. This position begins as onsite in Winsted, CT, and can become hybrid in time.

    JOB FUNCTIONS for the Sales Manager in Winsted, CT:

    Service and retain current customers and develop new business opportunities.

    Forecast and analyze sales.

    Assure compliance with contracting requirements.

    Actively participate in development and renewal of business strategy.

    Manage all quote activity considering cost, price, market, competition.

    Maintain contact with customers, account managers and sister plants.

    Prepare budgets and various sales / marketing reports.

    Responsible for import, export ASAT compliance

    Follow policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

    Serve as Export control technical liaison ensuring compliance.

    Machining and finished parts representative for corporate growth initiatives.

    Resolve sensitive commercial issues.

    Assumes lead role on matters of significant financial implications.

    Actively participate, promote, and comply with all EHS programs and policies.

    Familiarity and compliance with corporate and plant protocols including EHS, SOX, Ethics of business conduct, ABS, ASAT, ISO, and export control.



    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering

    A minimum of 7 years of experience in Engineering/Sales in a related industry.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Previous program manager experience is preferred.

    • Interpersonal savvy and communication skills (written and verbally)

    • Organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Problem-solving ability

    • Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite, Project)
