    Job Description

    Position Objective:

    The employee will be responsible for capturing, managing, and scrutinizing information associated with return and outbound logistics using data analysis. The completed analysis will be used to drive business decisions regarding all logistics solutions.  The role will focus on using the data analyzed to propose and implement logistics solutions for return logistics, in-bound freight and out-bound freight.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Review, interpret, and analyze logistics/freight data gathered from various sources.
    • Create models which analyze data that predict logistics costs.
    • Manage parcel invoicing data to ensure integrity, perform audits and analyze cost.
    • Analyze all freight related costs associated with return logistics of parcels to identify opportunities to reduce cost and assessorial charges.
    • Act as point person for global trade compliance related needs and assist in resolving trade compliance issues.
    • Make data driven recommendations regarding return freight strategies for existing and new products.
    • Research and analyze parcel and freight consolidation strategies for domestic and international return programs.
    • Interact with suppliers and service providers to understand the latest industry and market trends as they relate to logistics and freight.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned in support of logistics and freight projects.

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • 5 to 8 years of return logistics experience
    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in global trade compliance
    • Proven track record of solving complex problems with analytical data.
    • Analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
    • Very proficient with MicroSoft Excel.
    • Communicate effectively with co-workers, internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
    • Must be highly effective and productive working independently without constant oversight
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize work tasks
    • Identify and facilitate continuous improvement opportunities
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
