  • Responsibilities

    In search of a Finance Manager to join our Treasury Organization at our headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. The primary purpose of the position is to assist the Assistant Treasurer and Head of Corporate Development in all transactions related to sites. Includes business divestitures and acquisitions, and real estate leases, property sales, and acquisitions. The goal would be for this individual to lead day-to-day activities in these projects with a capacity and interest to take on as needed responsibilities in other areas of Treasury and Finance, in general.

    The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both M&A and Real Estate functions, but we would consider candidates that either had M&A deal experience and some working knowledge/familiarity with Real Estate or strong real estate experience and strong financial modeling skills without necessarily having leadership experience in M&A. Any background in general Treasury functions is considered a plus.

    Divestiture and Acquisition Activities:

    · Support all aspects of the transaction process, including identification, screening, evaluation, deal structuring and negotiation, due diligence, closing, and any post-transaction work

    · Provide project management support to deal leadership

    · Perform detailed financial valuations and critically evaluate business plans and forecast models

    · Prepare strategic rationale and valuation metrics in support of the internal approval process

    Real Estate Activities:

    · Assists Assistant Treasurer and Head of Corporate Development in marketing and sale of closed and surplus properties

    · Primary contact for operating locations seeking new facility leases or renewals of existing leases

    · Responsible for working with third party provider to manage global lease portfolio

    · Coordinate with attorneys to analyze and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and leases

    · Support of other Treasury activities as needed

    · Model company debt and interest forecasts, as well as potential actions

    · Support Rating Agency relationships and credit modeling

    · Support analysis and reporting of pension investments

    · Contribute to Bank Account Management and Treasury System related projects

    Essential Knowledge & Skills/Education:

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal/teamwork skills

    · Ability to lead projects that will involve coordinating the efforts of individuals globally

    · Comfort working in a high-paced, deadline driven, workplace

    · Strong understanding of financial statements, markets and corporate finance

    · Excellent financial modeling skills - Ability to generate ideas and execute them effectively

    · Self-starter and able to work independently

    · Multi-task skills and task oriented

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Basic Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

    · Minimum of 5 years of experience with financial modeling

    · Minimum of 3 years of experience with real estate functions

    · Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Experience in corporate development, treasury, private equity or investment banking

    · Excellent analytical skills including in-depth understanding of valuation methodologies

    · Knowledge of real estate transactions, legal requirements, and contracts experience

    · Experience coordinating multi-department teams
