    ER Medical Director Veterinarian (DVM) – Lacey, WA | Small Animal ER | AAHA | $200,000 – $225,000 Base + Sign-On Bonus Up to $75K

    A well-established 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital in Lacey, Washington is seeking a Medical Director (DVM) to lead a collaborative emergency team while continuing to practice high-quality medicine. This role offers the opportunity to mentor fellow veterinarians, support medical standards, and partner with hospital leadership to foster a positive and high-performing ER environment.

    • 12-hour swing shifts (2pm–2am), 3 days per week allowing for a consistent schedule and work-life balance
    • AAHA-accredited 24-hour emergency facility pursuing VECCS certification
    • Experienced technicians and support staff assisting with emergency cases
    • Collaborative environment with peer consultation and shared case discussions
    • Diverse emergency caseload in a fast-paced ER setting

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited veterinary school
    • Eligible for or currently licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California
    • TN visa sponsorship supported for qualified veterinarians from Canada and Mexico
