    What You'll Do

    • Provide high-quality on-site emergency medical coverage, initial triage, and first aid during assigned local athletic and event coverage shifts.
    • Respond rapidly to acute medical incidents, athletic injuries, or emergency situations on-site.
    • Assess patient conditions, deliver immediate care within the EMT scope of practice, and coordinate higher-level EMS transport when necessary.
    • Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential electronic incident and care documentation.
    • Maintain and inventory event medical kits and emergency response supplies before and after shifts.
    • Serve as a professional, calm, and reassuring medical presence for athletes, event participants, staff, and spectators.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years EMT Event Experience REQUIRED
    • Current EMT Certification (NREMT and/or Pennsylvania EMT State Certification)
    • Current CPR / BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
    • Mandated Reporter training within the last 2 years
    • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to shift locations in/around San Diego, CA
    • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor under pressure
    • Background checks and clearances as required by Pennsylvania state guidelines (e.g., Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprinting, Criminal History)
