Sequoia Safety Council is currently accepting applications for the position of: Per Diem Emergency Medical Technician, Per Diem Paramedic. 48 hours per month minimum, approximately one 24 hour shift per pay period.

Sequoia Safety Council is a non-profit, 501 (c)3 organization, that has been providing ambulance service since 1953. Our response area covers southeastern Fresno County, including the cities of Parlier, Orange Cove, Reedley and the foothill and mountain communities of Yokuts Valley and Dunlap. Personnel respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls for service.

Per Diem personnel are typically tasked to cover pre-planned, or last minute openings on the current shift schedule, ALS/BLS out of town transfers and ALS/BLS standby’s.

Pre-requisites are:

· Current CCEMSA accreditation.

· Current California Drivers License (driving required for these postings).

· Current California Ambulance Drivers License.

· Current California Medical Examiners Certificate.

· Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR.

· Current AHA Advanced Life Support (Paramedic).

· Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Paramedic).
