Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator
Location: Tennessee (Compact RN license accepted)

Our top-tier client is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to oversee and support the operations of a dynamic Emergency Department. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical judgment, leadership experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
As Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will:
- Lead and coordinate all unit functions during your designated shift under the guidance of the unit director
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for overall patient care
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers throughout the care continuum
- Uphold safety and infection control standards in every aspect of care delivery
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Active RN license in Tennessee or a compact state
- Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS and PALS certification (required within 1 year of hire)
- CPI certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience (Psych and ICU experience considered)
- At least 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Trauma experience strongly preferred
- Prior Charge Nurse or leadership experience preferred
