    Job Title: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Trauma) – Patient Centered Services Location: Washington, DC (Must reside 50+ miles away) Pay Rate: $71–$80/hour Schedule: 3 x 12-hour Night Shifts

    Position Overview: Patient Centered Services is seeking an experienced Travel ER Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Emergency Department in Washington, DC. This fast-paced environment requires a confident and skilled RN with strong trauma experience who is comfortable working as a bedside trauma nurse and managing diverse patient populations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department

    Serve as bedside trauma RN in the trauma room when needed

    Manage patient ratios up to 1:5

    Perform advanced critical care interventions including medication titration, arterial line monitoring, mass transfusion protocols, and chest tube management

    Deliver care to a wide range of patients including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and trauma/critical care cases

    Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

    Promote a positive patient experience while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced setting

    Accurately document care using Cerner EMR system

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Current RN license in Washington, DC (Required)

    Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (Required)

    Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room experience (Required)

    Certifications Required:

    NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

    Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

    Basic Life Support (BLS)

    Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

    Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

    Cerner experience (Required)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Highly preferred

    Additional Requirements:

    Must reside at least 50 miles from Washington, DC to qualify for travel status

    Must be comfortable working in trauma settings and handling high patient acuity

    Ability to work night shifts and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
