Emergency Department Sonographer RDMS

Elite Ultrasound Group (EUG) is seeking experienced Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) to provide on-call ultrasound coverage for a busy emergency department in West Little Rock, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in an emergency department setting

Perform vascular ultrasound studies as needed

Ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining professional standards

Accurately document patient information and imaging findings

Communicate effectively with physicians and emergency department staff

Maintain ultrasound equipment and report operational concerns as needed

Follow infection control and patient care protocols

Qualifications

RDMS certification required

Vascular experience preferred

RVT certification preferred

OB/GYN experience preferred

Minimum three years of ultrasound experience preferred

Emergency Department experience preferred

Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and patient care skills

Reliable transportation and dependable response times
