Alliance Animal Health is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist – Specialty, Emergency & Urgent Care to help support and grow one of the most critical and fastest-growing areas within veterinary medicine.

This is not a traditional recruiting role.

This position plays a direct role in helping hospitals expand access to emergency and advanced specialty care by connecting some of the most highly sought-after clinicians in veterinary medicine with meaningful career opportunities across our national network.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands the ER and Specialty world — whether through experience as an ER/Specialty CVT, Veterinary Practice Manager, hospital leadership team member, or another clinical support role — and is passionate about building relationships, supporting the profession, and helping veterinary teams grow.

In this role, you’ll help engage and build relationships with:

    • ER doctors and boarded specialists
    • Interns, residents, and externs
    • Veterinary hospital leaders and clinical teams
    • Passive and active candidates across the ER/Specialty community

You’ll also have opportunities to support conference recruiting efforts, industry networking events, campus outreach initiatives, and employer branding projects that help position Alliance as a growing leader in Emergency, Specialty, and Urgent Care veterinary medicine.

As Alliance continues to invest heavily in Specialty, ER, and Urgent Care growth nationwide, this role offers the chance to become deeply connected within one of the most exciting and impactful spaces in the profession.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Building relationships with ER/Specialty DVMs, specialists, interns, residents, externs, and hospital teams nationwide
    • Conducting warm outreach, networking, and strategic candidate engagement efforts
    • Supporting relocation recruiting strategies through personalized market and lifestyle messaging
    • Creating “keep warm” communication plans for externs, passive candidates, and delayed-start candidates
    • Helping generate referral candidates through ongoing relationship management and outreach
    • Creating memorable candidate experiences through personalized follow-up communication, handwritten notes, and post-visit engagement
    • Supporting conference and industry recruiting initiatives including events such as IVECCS and campus recruiting activities
    • Assisting with employer branding initiatives focused on ER, Specialty, and Urgent Care medicine
    • Partnering with recruitment leadership on sourcing strategy, pipeline development, and talent engagement
    • Gathering market intelligence related to compensation trends, candidate motivations, and industry movement
