Emerging Architecture Professional

Salary: $50,000 annually

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an Emerging Architecture Professional to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an early-career architectural professional who is passionate about design, collaboration, and contributing to meaningful projects within the built environment. Working under the supervision of a Principal, Associate, and/or Project Architect, this individual will assist in the preparation of architectural plans, drawings, and project documentation while gaining valuable experience throughout all phases of design and construction.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, adaptable, and eager to grow professionally within a collaborative architectural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare clear, accurate, and complete architectural drawings and construction documents from sketches, notes, and project concepts
• Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) and/or CAD software to support project design and documentation
• Assist with the development of project designs, layouts, and technical solutions
• Collaborate with Project Architects and clients to help determine functional and spatial requirements for new construction and renovation projects
• Support the preparation of specifications, materials selections, equipment coordination, estimated costs, and project schedules
• Integrate engineering and consultant information into cohesive project designs
• Prepare scale drawings and contract documents for construction teams
• Assist with construction administration activities, including periodic site visits and observation of work in progress
• Participate in project coordination and communication throughout all phases of a project
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and maintain strong internal and external client relationships

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field required
• Completion of Architectural Experience Program (AXP) hours required
• Candidates should currently be eligible to sit for architectural licensure examinations
• Experience using BIM and/or CAD software preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a strong interest in design and technical development
