Overview:
An elite national law firm is seeking a Junior EC/VC Associate to join its high-growth Emerging Companies & Venture Capital team. The group advises startups, growth-stage tech companies, and top-tier venture funds across all phases of the business lifecycle—from formation to financing and exits.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 2+ years of experience in venture financings, M&A, or tech transactions

• Background at a well-regarded law firm

• Excellent academic credentials and references

• Proficiency in Excel, strong math skills, and impeccable communication

• NY bar admission

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate early- and late-stage financing documents

• Advise founders and startups on corporate governance and formation

• Support exits, including M&A and other liquidity events

• Work directly with investors and VC funds on deal structuring
